Marty Our Resident Pet

Marty our resident dog joined Abbey Haven on March 15th 2013.  He is a 7  year old border collie and was a rescue dog from Leitrim Animal Welfare Centre in Drumkeerin.  Marty is a very happy dog and is loved by all our residents, staff and visitors alike.   He currently spents a lot of his day working closely supervising the hens.  The residents enjoy watching both Marty and the hens, they are a great source of entertainment. 

Marty provides a friendly, calming and therapeutic benefit for all and is very loveable.
